Due to the rural character, the sparse population and the many orchards, the island of Funen is also called the Garden of Denmark. CityCamp Assens Strand is on the southwest of Funen, bordering the city of Assens. You camp right by the sea and a large sandy beach. You have lovely views of the water from the park-like campsite. Above all, here you see the most beautiful sunsets as the sun slowly sinks into the sea. This is a recently renovated campsite with modern amenities.

Spacious camping pitches and modern chalets

When you initially walk or drive over the campsite, you will first see a number of modern chalets behind the reception. Besides in a bungalow, you can stay on a spacious pitch at CityCamp Assens Strand. In fact, tourist pitches are clearly in the majority here. There are three categories of touring pitches. The difference is in the location with regards to the beach. If you want to camp close to the beach at CityCamp Assens Strand, it is advisable to book in advance.

Wonderful swimming in Little Belt

If you love taking a refreshing swim in natural water on summer days, then this campsite is the place to be as here you camp right next to the sandy beach of Assens. This campsite is connected to this beach via a lovely path. You can jump into the sea from a sturdy swimming jetty.
