Deze Duitse camping ligt in een bocht van de Neckar-rivier op 35 kilometer van Mannheim. De eenvoudige camping is in 2023 overgenomen door de nieuwe eigenaren: Sabine en Markus Seegardel. Hoewel er nog hard gewerkt wordt om de camping op te knappen, is inmiddels het sanitair gerenoveerd, zijn er nieuwe kampeerplaatsen gemaakt en is er een nieuwe ‘Camping butler’. Dit laatste is een machine waarmee de toiletcassette van je camper of caravan automatisch gereinigd wordt. Heel fijn voor een comfortabele kampeerervaring!

We stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Heidelberg. There is a very long one way drive way down to the site no pull ins. Pitch big enough, but we didn’t like the fact we had to trail our EHU across the access to hook up. You’re given a prepaid card for the shower so whilst they were really clean and hot we ended up paying extra for shower. Wouldn’t return.

Sometimes you just want to look at the world without having to be involved. Here the river divides a beautiful tranquil campsite from the bustling town. You relax and enjoy peace and quiet whilst looking onto a castle and town The showers here are the best I’ve seen this year and beat any other campsite around and the staff are outstanding in their help and enjoyment of meeting travellers
