Stayed in 8 sites in Europe and this was the worst.Tent site allocated in middle of uneven field, long grass and no shade.paid same as nice sites allocated to motor homes etc..Restaurant closed ,useless shop and car needed to get to decent toilet block.
The site manager/ owner allowed a French outfit to pitch his caravan on our pitch when we were out in the car. His awning was only a few feet away from our door. It should be noted that the site was not busy at all.We complained and the manager did nothing..The toilet block needs refurbishing or at least a good clean. Overall not a good experience and we will not be repeating it.
We stayed at this site for two weeks. The ACSI guide had the site as a 7=6. One would have thought that 7=6 would also mean 14=12, but the proprietor insisted that she would not give any discount for the second week. She declared that she had given enough discount already offering the ACSI rate in the first place. We have been to many sites over the last few years and have never met this perverse interpretation of the 7=6 offer before.
Tried to use this campsite on our way back from in Italy on September 30th 2014
Do not believe that they are open to October 15th. They were closed with a sign saying not open until next April.
Asci you must make sure these sites abide by the rules as we and two other motorhomes both French were very angry that it was shut.
It had been very wet when we arrived and the whole campsite was sodden, not the campsites fault as they have had a very wet summer. Everything was acceptable for a one night stopover but nonetheless there would be nothing to make you return. We walked into the town centre (about 30 minutes) but again this was marred by the miserable weather.
Fairly basic stopover campsite. Small take-away/sit-down cafe open when we were there. Not much in the neighbourhood to capture the interest of campers.
