Just outside Terrasson-Lavilledieu, a friendly village in the Périgord Noir (eastern Dordogne), is La Salvinie. Here, you camp in a wonderfully quiet setting, in a hilly, wooded environment and right by the Vézère River. This is the ideal base for discovering the beauty of the Dordogne. There is also plenty to do on this small family campsite. For example, there is a lovely outdoor pool, a varied entertainment programme, a large playground and sports facilities.

Spacious pitches with lots of privacy
As a camper, do you think it is important to have enough space and privacy? The shaded campsite has large touring pitches separated by high hedges. In the middle of the campsite is a large toilet block, where private toilets and showers are available in low season. Still prefer your own kitchen and bathroom? Book a stay in a modern mobile home or safari tent.
Plenty of water fun, sports and conviviality
Next to the toilet and shower building, you will find a fun shaped outdoor pool. Young children have fun in the shallow end here, while adults relax in the hot tub. The double slide that exits into the heated water of the pool provides fun for the whole family. Fancy even more sporting entertainment? Have a game of volleyball, table tennis or jeu de boules, do some exercises in the outdoor gym or take part in the revolutionary game of home ball. There is also plenty of entertainment in high season, including shows and theme nights for the whole family. Want to take it a little easier? Go to the bar and borrow a board game or a good book for free.
