Camping Moulin de Chaules is a pleasant campsite situated in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Auvergne. Christelle, half of the friendly couple that owns the campsite, runs the restaurant and makes delicious homemade pizzas. Building dams in the river, taking part in the activities and sitting around the campfire together: get ready for a varied holiday!

It is a beautiful campsite. The tents are very nice and big. Everything is clean. For young children is perfect to play. Parents can have a drink next to playground. Even during hot days it is very cool at the brook with icecold mountain water and under the many trees. Swimming Pool is perfect and clean. The owners are very friendly. They provide good pizza and daily meals. The nature is beautiful. In the area there are some nice towns to visit.

Gorgeous, small-scale,family-friendly camping in a beautiful green setting. Great facilities, including a nice swimming pool, a cozy bar, and a playground area for the kids. The owners are very correct,friendly and helpful.
Nothing major, the only thing we could think of is maybe some barbeque facilities.

We liked that it was family runned so smallscaled. The camping had a good overlook, so you kind of always knew where the kids where without them having the idea that you were constantly checking up on them.

Lots of green, lots of shade (in the lower pitches, we had no. 22), the little creek is fantastic, nice terrace for drinks and dinner with a fun playground.
The pool is quite small, can be crowded/no chairs available. Half of the toilets/showers is in need of maintenance, paint falling off. Kiddy toilet could use a light, my son needed me to hold the door open or he got scared.

A beautiful, friendly and fun campsite for families with children. The place is amazing for kids between 2-10, they will have lots of friends to play with. The campsite is a little less great for babies, (floor on the playground / restaurant is either small rocks or wood chucks which babies eat when you put them on the ground, and the campsite is built on high terraces, so not super safe to let your baby play). Having said that - would definitely recommend for families with toddlers and above!
