We received a warm welcome when we arrived for our one night stop over. However, it should be noted that although I had telephoned beforehand to enquire whether the access was easy, I discovered that ( contrary to what the Dutch lady owner had informed me during our telephone conversation) the campsite is accessed via a single track country lane. Once there, the only plots available were situated at the top of the campsite and ( once again) access was not particularly easy for a caravan outfit....ours is not particularly large! The campsite is populated predominantly by Dutch people.Toilets are old but clean.
Very warm welcome from English speaking hosts, lovely campsite nicely laid out in a rural area. Very nice food in the restaurant, which also provided a vegetarian meal at short notice. Nice swimming pool. Very clean facilities
We stayed overnight in June 2014. Wonderful welcome, we were late for food but our host cooked for us. The site is wonderfully quiet and of a rustic nature. Pitch size good. My only point of criticism was that we had to take drinking water from a tap adjacent to the chemical waste disposal point, needs to be moved. On the whole a very friendly nice site.
The owners speak impeccable English, this is a small quiet site, some of the signs need renovating (to find it!!), it has some play things swings etc for children, but you need to drive from there to the local village, I would recommend this site for a adult or senior couple only, unless just passing through. The food was fantastic, I have never seen so much food for such a good price! The toilet & shower block are ok, the down side is there is a 2 inch gap from shower / toilet door to the ground! & no toilet paper provided in the loos. It was nice to see a Arabian toilet available for eastern campers too. If going through the area again I would stay again.
Very disappointing. Doesn't match site photo at all. Poor access for Motorhomes, sloping pitches, very basic facilities. Absolutely nothing other than the site in the surrounding area.
