From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We were shown three potential pitches for our campervan and immediately pointed out to staff that all of them were far too small and steep to maneuver safely. We explicitly asked to pay for an upgrade to a more suitable space, but this was flatly refused—despite there being many empty pitches throughout our stay (the campsite was nowhere near full). Consequently, while trying to maneuver into the inadequate space forced upon us, our van sustained damage to the front bumper. When we raised this with reception, staff were dismissive and refused to take any responsibility, claiming it was entirely our fault. Expecting a campsite pitch to be accessible without risking damage to your vehicle isn't a high bar; it should be a baseline guarantee. Restaurant & Food Quality The food quality was very poor. Everything served appeared to be cheap, frozen produce—adding a few fresh pea shoots on top does not hide substandard ingredients. When we spoke to the manager, they confirmed that a large portion of the menu is indeed bought in frozen, and we witnessed numerous other guests complaining during our stay. It may have nice views, but don't confuse a good view with a good eatery. Atmosphere & Environment This is certainly not the place for a relaxing break. The swimming pool and pétanque area were consistently taken over by large, intoxicated groups who were screaming and acting aggressively. Rather than a peaceful, well-managed campsite, it was completely overrun and felt more like a rowdy, rowdy holiday camp. Verdict Between the physical damage to our vehicle, the dismissive attitude of the staff, the poor food, and the completely antisocial atmosphere, we would never return. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The rest of the stay has been equally disappointing: Restaurant: The food is of very poor quality. Everything served appears to be frozen, low-grade produce. Adding a few fresh pea shoots on top does not hide the fact that the quality is substandard. Atmosphere: This is not a place for a relaxing break. The surrounding narrow roads make access to the site challenging, the English speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. The grass pitches are reasonably level and spacious despite the site being on a steep hill, the site does offer an alternative Panoramic area for motorhomes, we stayed on the standard area. The sanitation/shower block facilities are of a reasonable standard.
