Flowercamping de la Grande Plage is about 5 km from the fishing port of Guilvinec. The special thing about the camping site is the beautiful location on the Atlantic Ocean, where camp guests have access to the beautiful extensive sandy beach and the granite cliffs. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
The spacious separate campsites are between 80 and 120 m2. Depending on the site, you are in full sun or there are some with plenty of shade. You can also hire a mobile home or bungalow here. The plants have been laid out with care. The camping site is much visited by French people due to the beautiful location.
The lovely heated swimming pool (180 m2) has challenging slides and a jacuzzi. Swimming costumes are obligatory and boxer shorts are not permitted. The heated kiddie pool is about 25 m2. In a few minutes you can walk via a lovely path to the beach at Boudoul and the ocean where you can snorkel and windsurf.
You will find super-fresh mussels on the cliffs to make yourself. At the snack bar you have a choice of simple daily menus and pizzas. The meals can also be taken away. Every Thursday in the high season the tables are ready for a lovely meal with all of the camping site guests.
There is a playground on the camping site. Twice a week in the high season there is an activity programme (English and French). Activities include: archery, treasure hunts, skateboarding and climbing. Every morning on working days in July and August there are activities in the swimming pool. Table tennis and jeu de boules are other options.

Liked - Pretty and small site with great access to a beautiful beach and close to port of Lesconil. This port village is really lovely with event sand market and a superb restaurant on the harbour. the site is well maintained and attractive with very friendly staff, especially Christophe and Lettie in the snack bar. Vincent the site manager is efficent and helpful. the pool is a good size,, heated with slides and pleasant surroundings. our daughter and our family stayed next to us in a Freeflower tent which was very well equipped and perfect for a relaxed holiday with two small boys.
Disliked - No
Liked - Region
Liked - We loved the location, pool and general atmosphere of the site.
Disliked - One very noisy family close to our accommodation...a shame as most guests staying were pleasant and considerate.
Liked - Clean and tidy with plenty of space. A short walk to the beach and coastal path
Liked - Small campsite. Cosy. Nice size pool for children. Proximity to the beach
Disliked - Okay
Liked - Electricity was ok, we had no issues during our stay around disrubtions of electricity.
Disliked - Free wireless connection was very slow or not performing.
Liked - Lovely area, nice feel to the campsite. Lots of friendly people about.
Liked - Excellent swimming pool and lovely beach incredibly close.
Liked - Nice swimmingpool with slides, big enough , especially for the relatively small campingsite .
Seawater is great if you enjoy fresh bathing water .
There are some activities, 1-2x a week . ( The week we were there: archery , climbing tower , electric scateboard )
Clean sanitary facilities. Especially when you take in account french standards.
Catering camping restricted to takeaway, only pizza's, chicken with fries . We haven't made use of it, found prices relatively expensive for takeaway. For the same price, or a little more, you can eat outdoors in Lesconil (walking distance)
Disliked - Sometimes some noise from teenagers camping as a group.
Football playing kids near the sanitary facilities, in the evening, five days in a row. Normally I don't have any problem with that. But it's less nice when you camp next to it and the ball keeps coming your direction when eating or during BBQ. Creating a suitable facility might be an idea.
This site is quite a gem. Family run and they work hard to please. Close to town with flat cycling and good cycle paths to town and behind the dunes. Very good family pool. Beach here is short walk, large with good quality sand and good swimming. Cockle beach not far away. Only stayed 2 nights but best site this trip.
