A beautiful area of France to visit but the campsite\'s motorhome plots were rough, lumpy and worn, access to the plot was not easy. You could only rate the showers and toilets as adequate. Not a site that we shall be returning to.
This site is very friendly and the staff are helpful. I have to comment on the access to the site, fine if you are in a motorhome, but a little more difficult with a caravan. There is a sharp turn into the site from the road and the reception area is at the bottom of a slope. The site is in two parts, one under the trees which is accessed from the reception area, the other at the tip of the cliff which magnificent views over the bay. The road to this part of the site is from the top of the road which slopes down to the reception area, it is quite narrow and care needs to be taken. We took a pitch on the top of the cliff, it had a beautiful view and was certainly very peaceful. The rule was pitch where you like but do not block anyone's view! It was quite hilly and had steps from the cliff down to the reception area. It was further downhill to the beach area. Not for the feint hearted.
The site itself was clean enough, and cleaned on a regular basis. One think I didn't like was the "peely bin" this was at the side of the washing area, in the warm weather this was rather smelly and attracted a lot of flies!
The site was well placed for exploring the local area which was pretty and well worth a visit.
There are lots of easy pitches but we chose one not easy to get onto with a large caravan and didn't make it easy. It was worthwhile though for outstanding views of the whole bay and rocky island outcrops. This was just intended as our last site before heading home after a fabulous 4 months travelling but in many ways this was the best site/views we have had in the entire trip. Give yourself a few days as the beach & headland walks are lovely.
Just back after spending 10 days there. I think this is the best French site I have ever visited. Spotlessly clean, good size pitches beautifull beaches within a few minutes walk and loads to do without having to travel too far. This is one site not to be missed.
