Travelling party: Couple

Stopped here for a night on the way to the south. Positive points are that it\'s really close to the town, about a 15 minute walk, owners are really friendly and helpful and the toilet block is lovely and clean with lots of showers and toilets. The downside is that the pitches are quite scruffy and small and the view from the pitches of cranes and hoppers and graffiti on the walls across the water was not great! It\'s a good place to stopover but definitely not one to stay at for more than a night and given the pitches and views, I probably wouldn\'t stay there again. Definitely worth a vIsit to the town - we visited on a Saturday and there were lots of street performers in the old town, interesting place to wander around and lots of bars and restaurants.

Fab toilets and showers, very helpful at reception. Village not as good as it first seems: there are limited eating places unless you want a kebab.

Good clean site on the banks of the Saone. Friendly staff, good bar with wifi and limited meals available. Short walk into the typical French regional town. Great street food market on Sundays (and other days) and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Nice cycling along the Saone and (if you can find it) along the nearby canal and the Route Vert.

Stopped here for 2 nights on the way south, lovely little town with a great market on a Sunday, facilities were good although not the prettiest of sites and not a great view, however plenty of cycle tracks and walks nearby.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Definitely a transit camp, get there early in the summer and grab a great pitch then watch it fill up.Toilet facilities are top notch, very light and airy. The Patron has a good grasp of English and a great sense of humour. Chalon is just a quiet riverside walk away too. We will return here again and again I am sure, and stay for more than one night

Lovely site in beautiful surroundings by the river, short walk into local historic town along river bank. Good market. Spacious grassed pitches, small bar/restaurant with free wifi (no need to purchase anything). Very relaxing friendly site.

Travelling party: Seniors

Good site, well maintained, excellent very modern sanitation. Wifi hotspot free in bar area. Not very attractive outlook from some parts but well marked out pitches and pleasant attractive town. Well placed for shopping. Some road noise, but that is acceptable for a site with such convenient access. Good for an overnight stop.
