Detail information about this campsite
"Beautiful, large campsite for young and old in a beautiful area, near the castles of the Loire and not far from Paris and Versailles. Nice open, heated pool with waterslide, paddling pool and jacuzzi (free). Also, mini-golf, pony rides and bouncy castles. Ultra-modern sanitary facilities."

Good size pitches with water and electrics at front of pitch. The toilet/shower block was clean with plenty of hot water. There were a number of statics on site most of the caravan pitches were grouped together. There was a new heated swimming pool and looked to be plenty of onsite facilities to keep young and old amused during the peak months. The small camp shop was well stocked with essentials.
Good size hedged pitches, tall trees for good shade. Newish sh/wc by reception, but hotter water in old block. Clean. Good off-lead dog walk across the road as behind council tennis courts are two lakes and a beautiful park. Village short walk and there are river paths also.
Stopped for a couple of nights in November. Toilet block clean and well maintained although the showers were cool, both men and women's. Wifi expensive, especially when most similar size/type of site offer free wifi. Nice walks around the town. No Supermarket there now, the Intermarche has closed and gone. Only a 8 til 8 in the centre which is as expensive as a Spar in UK. Probably be quite an enjoyable place for a summer holiday as there were large leisure facilities in the vicinity.
Excellent location, close to village will good amenities including good market Saturday mornings. Visited late September, site in hibernation. Heated pool tepid at best, too cold to spend long in. Slides shut down. Bouncy castles and other amusements shut down. Mini golf and many other things look like have been closed for quite a while. Pitches good. EHU and water points nearby. Good choice of sun, shade or part as practically empty this time of year. Rive bank location, nice and peaceful. Restaurant on site, open 8pm for evening meals off season. Again good choice in village too. Short walk away (5 mins) Site charges for children over 3 years despite ACSI card including two kids under 6 with the price.
Cloyes Village has motorhome aire and large car parks ideal for overnighting if you don't need the shower facilities of a campsite. Will probably do that next time.
