Only 8 km south-west of the city of Tours, you will find camping La Mignardière, the ideal base for exploring the Touraine region. The region is rich in history, gastronomy and attractive nature. The campsite presents itself as ‘hôtellerie de plein air’ (open air hotel) which is an indication that everything revolves around pleasing the holiday guests.

Location was great. Lovely reception staff.
Maintenance staff should drive more slowly around the site. A leaflet of rules would be good to encourage parents to watch their children more carefully; small children were cycling fast around the site while we were trying to reverse our car. Parents had no control. Shame the bar wasn’t open on our stay. Just a couple of changes would improve the site immensely. Would have been nice to have fresh bread ordering.
