The friendly family campsite L’Arada Parc is situated on a low hill near the town of Sonzay in the Loire Valley. The grounds with many flowery shrubs look well maintained.

Relaxed camping

On the slightly hilly terrain the camping pitches are closer to the amenities than the rental accommodation units. The terrain is laid out with numerous trees and bushes and has a varied appearance. The pitches differ in size and comfort but are all spacious. The luxury pitches have electricity and water supply plus drainage. A number of pitches is dedicated to campers. Rental accommodation consists of furnished tents, mobile homes and chalets.

Wellness in old mobile home

The owner has converted an old mobile home into a relaxation and wellness area with a Turkish bath, balnéo, an infrared sauna and some fitness equipment including two bicycles. There is a heated indoor pool, with toddler pool, and outdoor pool with nice slide and jacuzzi.

Campsite owner and chef

The owner is also the chef and the restaurant offers a small menu with pizzas, meat dishes and the Arada menu. The terrace of the restaurant, with a view of the swimming pool, is a lovely place to relax in the sun or the shade. You can buy various groceries and beverages in the reception area. There is adequate choice for a reasonable price.

Not to be missed

From the campsite you can take a large number of walking and cycling trips in the area and you can rent bicycles from the reception. Wine tasting options are also offered on the various vineyards. You can also visit one of the many castles on the Loire or the regional nature park with wildlife.

Liked - Kindvriendelijk, kleinschalig en overzichtelijk, broodservice tot aan kampeerplek gebracht, vriendelijke crew, gratis water bijvullen, gezellige animatie, zwembad volledig beveiligd afgesloten voor kinderen
Disliked - Zeepdispensers voorzien in de sanitaire blokken; assortiment in winkeltje (voeding) zou nog iets uitgebreider kunnen

Liked - De VIP plekken bieden veel ruimte en hebben een gezellige locatie vlakbij het zwembad. De kinderen hebben genoten van de zwemfaciliteiten en de animatie is heel leuk
Disliked - Het sanitair was matig schoon. Dit had beter gekunt. Ook stonden alle auto's op de camping. Hierdoor lijkt het soms een grote parkeerplaats en wordt de doorgang bemoeilijkt.

Liked - Springkussen, glijbaan, wc gebouw, personeel. Geen brood hoevel halen wordt op u plek bezorgd elke dag.
Disliked - Voetbalveldje voor jongeren. Deze hingen nu de hele avond tot 01:00 in het speeltuintje waar jonge kinderen omheen sliepen.
