This is a big site and very handy to the town. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a excellent vet in the town that speaks English if you need one. We visited this site in 2017 and loved it that is why we returned this year 2018.
Unfortunately it has been run down, a complete toilet block that is out of order, although people still try to use it! The toilets, shower block and washing up room wasn\'t cleaned for at least 3 days of my knowledge. The waste bins on site were only emptied once in the week we stayed there so all were over filled and some broken with the weight. The staff in reception were helpful and polite. This site is NOT a ACSI site and is not in the book. On questioning one of the staff reference this she explained they only advertise for publicity. Also they charge everyone different costings and all had to be in cash. Apparently the card machine was broken?
This site has been taken over by a lady who has 3 other sites goodness knows what they are like. Very disappointed and will not return.

This site I feel is need of better management 2nd day here toilet still not cleaned, the young staff are friendly, short walk into town which seems to be still in recession, the restaurants are good, massive main square with restaurants around. I am disappointed this is the second visit in three years sad to see this site as it is. Strange thing the marina has very few boats in this year. For a quick night stop there is a free camper stop in the marina, bit tight but for one night it’s free

Ideal location, walk out of the site, over the footbridge and Into Charleville with its magnificent square. Choice of pavement eateries for those who want to see and be seen. Facilities good, Wifi on our pitch but we were close to the reception. Aware of nearby disco on Friday night but not a nuisance. A lot of tiny flies on the riverside pitches. We'd paid extra per night for a comfort pitch with water. Well worth it.

Spent 4 nights at this excellent campsite. The staff were very welcoming, offering us a range of pitches of our choosing. Payment is made in arrival: so much easier that way. Pitch chosen was beside the river with ample room. Facilities very clean and modern. Showers nice and hot (some shower heads a bit on the high side if you are on the short side!). Only small negative (although it didn't interrupt our sleep)- there is a night club operating near to the footbridge end of the campsite so if you are staying at the weekend and are a light sleeper, best to choose pitch furthest away from this area. Town just a 5 minute walk away across the footbridge with plenty of Carrefour express, shopping, bars, restaurants and covered market. Thank you for a great stay
