Nice wooded site with various random shaped camping pitches up the hillside. End of season so slightly dry and dusty on site, but no problem with that. Good sized pitch with hookup etc. Toilet/ shower blocks very good, lots of space, very clean and all required facilities present (apart from soap dispensers in top block, but not a major problem). Nice little pool, and nice bar/ cafe offering good food. Friendly staff, very helpful and prepared to put themselves out for anyone. Bike hire on site was good to get to Palace de Versailles (locks provided etc) good quality bikes, electric bikes also available.
Very impressed all round.
limited Acsi spaces so advisable to book ahead. Excellent sanitary facilities and plenty of hot water.. clean and pleasant areas though the urinals could do with a door as if you\'re on pitch 139 you have an unlimited view! apart from this, for a popular tourist spot, this is convenient, nb very shady, camping.
Large campsite with a range of environmentally friendly lodges. Site is on a wooded hillside approached through narrow streets, some with weight restrictions. Most pitches are of good size and fairly level. Small bar/Restaurent offers simple food. Train stations are 15 & 20 mins walk away. Easy access into Paris. Close to Versailles.
This site is well located for visiting Paris and Versailles with public transport nearby. There are many trees which do not allow satellite reception. The WiFi is reliable but only near reception. Most pitches are on slopes. Facilities are good. Expensive for what it is but in a city.
excelente, comodo, grande y limpio. cerca a unas cuadras de la estacion del tren, ideal para visitar paris sin problemas.
Brilliant location for Paris and Verailles using cheap public transport. Only a few pitches get TV/Sat signals. We requested a sat site when booking. Staff made us stay on alocated pitch that didn\'t get signal. Difficult access due to many road closures on the signed route in a built up urban area. Advance warning, by email, would have been greatly appreciated.
Lovely site worth the trouble
A good site that feels rural despite being at the edge of town. Very helpful multilingual staff and lots of hot water.
We used it as a base for Paris though obviously it is close to town and Chateau of Versailles. Station is a seven minute amble away. There is a Carrefour City shop next to station - handy for picking up stuff after a day in Paris - it is open to 22.00. The campsite leaflet suggests getting a Mobilis ticket if traveling to Paris - it covers all transport in the. ity for a day. Unless you are goi g to be using transport a lot, it is probably cheaper to buy a. normal return which covers connections without a break in the journey and if you need further journeys paying separately.
Probably the best available site for visiting Paris, with the RER station only ten minutes' walk away. Access to the site, through residential streets with a lot of parking, could be difficult for people with large caravans; I don't have a caravan myself, but on arrival I was stuck behind a huge outfit which took all of ten minutes to cover the last 200 metres. The site is hilly; many pitches are sloping, and some are on the small side. Sanitary blocks have the usual Huttopia quirkiness; in the one I used, the hot water pressure was very variable, making it difficult to keep the shower at a constant temperature. The restaurant (again in Huttopia style) is fairly basic, but adequate.
