Campsite Le Neptune is on the river and close to the Mediterranean Sea. A campsite with a beautiful pool and various sports facilities. Leave the campsite to explore the beautiful region of Languedoc-Roussillon. The campsite is on the shores of the Hérault, only 2 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. On this campsite, you can swim in the pool or show off your athletic talents on the multisport field or the fitness room. The campsite is ideally located for going on fun trips in the area.

A lot of space

The campsite has been managed by the same family since 1972. Campsite Neptune is a flat campsite where all camping pitches have a surface of at least 100 m2. They are covered in grass and delimited by oleanders, hedges, and bushes. Many areas enjoy a lot of shadow and have electricity.

The campsite also offers a variety of mobile homes for rent. All types of accommodation are for 4, 5, or 6 people and have a kitchen, a sitting area, bathroom, and separate toilet. The more luxurious mobile homes also have air-conditioning, microwave oven, fridge with freezer, and a TV set. The big advantage is that there is a lot of space around, so that you can also park your car next to the mobile home.

Water everywhere

The river Hérault flows by the campsite. You are not allowed to swim here, but you can fish without a permit. You can swim on the campsite itself. There is a beautiful swimming pool with a toddler area.

I really don't understand how all these reviews are so positive. We've been here one night and can't wait to leave. We're glad we only booked two nights.
Our arrival: the woman at the reception barely looked at us, 'threw' a map towards us and told us to find a spot. We did and told her. Then she started laughing that it was a 'pay more' spot, which she didn't tell us. We chose a different spot, the best we could find, which was 80% mud and 20% brown 'what-used-to-be' grass. The streets are too narrow to navigate a caravan, so we were glad we have a mover.
The showers at the end of the day (around 19:00/7pm) we're gross, hair everywhere, pieces of tissues stuck to the wall, we didn't want to shower and hoped the next day they would be clean.
The next morning around 9:00am we tried again, but nobody cleaned anything in the meantime. The cleanest toilet I found already had pee and toilet paper (which is provided OUTSIDE of the stalls) in it. We walked our dog off of the park to let her do her business, but just before we passed the beams, she sat down to pee. Still better than all the people we see walking their dog ON the campsite, but this man (very dirty looking with holes in his clothes) started yelling at us that we had to pull her away. This doesn't work with a dog that is peeing and I tried to wash away the pee with water. He kept yelling at me about odor, which I was trying to fix.

This has only been the first 12h of our stay at this campsite and I feel bad for booking another night here.
I can't imagine anyone giving this campsite 4 (!!!?) stars.
To not be completely negative: the pool looks good (and clean, but I don't dare going in because the rest is so gross), the places are big enough and the overall look is ok.

een heel goede verzorgde camping , heel vriendelijke uitbaters .
als men iets nodig heeft, moet je maar een seintje geven en ze komen u direct helpen .
wij zijn al enkele jaren vertrouwde kampeerders die naar Camping Neptune gaan .
we nemen steeds onze fietsen mee , mooie fietsroutes en telkens ontdekken we iets nieuw .
we maken ook steeds mooie wandelingen naar den dijk, en wandelen langs het strand met de voetjes in het water .
telkens kruipen we onder de lakens moe en voldaan :-)
top camping !!

Wij zijn al meerdere jaren, periode mei-juni op camping Le Neptune geweest tot volle tevredenheid. Volgend jaar weer. Uiterst vriendelijke medewerkers. Severine is heel behulpzaam samen met haar broer waar ze de camping mee drijft. Prachtige plekken en dichtbij mooi nieuw sanitair. In de buurt is voldoende te beleven aan stranden, winkels en plaatsen. Het strand is op loopafstand. Wij hebben onze bestemming gevonden net als vele andere vakantiegangers.

in het late hoog- en naseizoen 3 wkn bezocht. 1e week, prima, rustig en een normale Franse vakantie. Het naseizoen, bezocht door vele (groepen) Nederlanders en een minder lekker vakantiegevoel. Zwembad, met de groepjes ook in het zwembad, minimaal. Ondanks alles voor herhaling vatbaar

mooie plaatsen
rustig gelegen
restaurant is open alleen in juli en augustus maar dan wordt brood aan caravan geleverd elke morgen

Komen hier vaker. Prima camping. Goede service en veel te doen in de omgeving. Alleen bij zeer veel regen staan veel plaatsen onder water. Deze plaatsen mogen verbeterd worden door bijv. ophoging.

Rustige en zeer eenvoudige camping op een kilometer van het dorp en het zeer mooi en groot strand. bereikbaar via een gescheiden fiets en wandelpad.

Wij waren in juni gedurende 2 weken op deze camping. 'S Avonds was het restaurant (nog) niet open, maar er werd wel even een stokbrood afgebakken zodat wij op onze aankomstdag toch even iets te eten hadden.
