Camping Sites & Paysages Au Clos de la Chaume is located near the village of Corcieux, just ten minutes' drive from Gérardmer. The campsite is located alongside a stream, features a swimming pool and is ideal for making trips in the Alsace, Vosges and Lorraine.
Tailored to the needs of every camper
The camping features flat, spacious pitches of approximately 100 m2. The Grand Confort pitches are slightly larger and have water facilities and electricity. If you would like to camp on a Grand Confort pitch, it would be wise to make a reservation well beforehand. For campers with a camper, there is a flat paved area with water facilities.
Plenty of water fun by the river or in the swimming pool
Children can play to their heart's content at the river. For a bit of variation, there's also a heated indoor pool and an outdoor swimming pool. Is the entire family exhausted from all that playing and swimming? Then you can relax and get some rest on the sunbathing lawn.
The stream that runs through the middle of the campsite is a site for activities such as boat races and building dams. In July and August children can visit the mini club on Tuesday mornings. Nature plays a central role here as well, with activities such as going for walks or making homes for squirrels.
A special activity is stargazing. The camping is located in the middle of nature, making it the ideal location to gaze at the celestial bodies gracing our night sky. Once a week, the mountain guide organises an evening of stargazing.

Many thanks for your kind review on our site.
We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area, at the heart of the Regional Park Les Ballons des Vosges and also close to the lakes, waterfalls, scenic route and Alsace, with its picturesque villages like Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Colmar...
We hope to see you again soon,
Liked - We booked it quickly and knew nothing about the campsite or area. In all areas everyone in the family 8-50+ were all impressed with the safari tent but also the forest surroundings and space in front and around the safari tent. Place to relax and play, calm, outdoor forest experience.
Disliked - We liked everything
Liked - Large pitch, well maintained campsite, Pascaline and Mike are great hosts, nice swimming pool, many interesting things to do and places to explore, including Gerardmer with its lake, weekly markets, restaurants and shops.
Disliked - No
Many thanks for your review. Our Large Service Pitches are indeed very popular, with having 10 amps , 140 m² and the water and drainage connection. We are glad that you enjoyed our covered pool too and of course the area !
The Vosges Mountains are still very unspoilt and with no mass tourism, it still remains beautiful..
We hope to see you again another year,
Pascaline and Mike have continued to develop this lovely, peaceful site, with a close eye on the environment it sits in. It is quiet and friendly, and in a fabulous location.with good local facilities too. I have not met two harder working owners, and we will most certainly return in the not too distant future.
Liked - It was our first camping with our kids and we had a good time here. The atmosphere was really nice on this camping site. It is clean and definitely being well taken care of. Thank you and we ll be back!
We wish to thank you for the detailed review you made, it is a great help for other future guests who wish to know the site. We are indedd a family size site and love welcoming families ! If you wish to come to the Vosges again, we would be delighted to see you again, many thanks ..
Liked - A Very warm welcome. Excellent spoken English. Very helpful on all levels. Stayed 2 weeks and witnessed the toilet blocks being cleaned throughout the day (early morning, throughout the day and during late evening). Toilet tissue is provided! Great location to tour the must see attractions. During August the team organised various interests for the evenings - Local wine producer - tasting and buying; pizza evenings, roast chicken, crafts stalls, star gazing. Easy reach for supermarkets in Anould and local Spa. Various markets around the area on various days.
Disliked - The site welcomes dogs, which is great. Dislike - irresponsible owners who don\'t keep an eye on the pet, who then foals on another pitch. This is not the fault of the camp Team!
We wish to thank you for the very precise review you made, it is a great help for other future guests who wish to know the area and site. If you wish to come to the Vosges again, we would be delighted to see you again, many thanks ..
Liked - we had a premium pitch which was worth paying the extra for.
Disliked - the site could do with a few more showers/toilets as there were queues at busy times.
Thanks ever so much, indeed the grand Confort pitches are very popular. We already have more toilets and showers as we should on a three star campsite, but we admit that there might be queues at times, we apologise for this and we hope to see you again soon ...
Liked - A lovely clean campsite with great facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Weather hot but plenty of areas of shade. The area was excellent for things to do; swimming in lac de Longmer, being touristy in beautiful Gerardmer, walking in the mountains, thrilling drives over the mountain passes and lovely
towns especially Colmar, Ribeauville and Turckheim. We even went on a chair lift meant for skiers. Verdun was further away but worth the visit on the way home. Very moving memorial to WW1.
Disliked - Not exactly a dislike but the shop would have been even more useful with a few more items and would no doubt be a source of profit for the campsite.
Many thanks for your comment on our site and area ! There is so much to do and we really enjoy telling guests what to do and what to see ..like the lakes, the scenic routes, Alsace Wine route, picturesque villages and much more...We hope to see you again soon and take your comment on board for when we will re do a reception building ...
