Lovely campsite with great facilities. And ideal for visiting Honfleur
A good site. Inside pool a good size and depth so you can get some decent exercise. Not enough cubicles in the main sanitary block for peak times. A quiet site if you use some common sense when choosing your pitch. Cards were not being accepted when we were there, Just cash. Buses do not stop outside but about 300 m away - go to the roundabout and turn right. 50 cents to Bayeux. Last bus back at 7.00pm. We used a taxi to get back. Honfleur delightful to amble around - tourist office has map with suggested routes.
Stayed here for 3 nights early june 2017.
Exellent site with all the bits and bobs you need
staff were friendly spoke good english and were very helpfull.
Bus stop out side camp to Honfleur.
Will be going back
Very professionally run site, with excellent shower block, kept very clean by a lovely lady who has worked there for 30+years! Staff are friendly, and speak good English. Pitches are a good size for car + caravan, with water and grey water disposal on pitch. Waste bins at each pitch emptied around 7.30am every day.
Pleasant restaurant and take away facilities.
Special mention here for Phillippe, one of the maintenance guys who were cutting the hedges in 30 degrees of heat during our stay. He and his colleagues worked hard to keep the site looking good, and had a laugh and joke with us too.
Excellent site and fabulous value with the ACSI out of season discount. Pitches clearly demarcated but tight and could be difficult to manoeuvre a large motor home. Facilities available on each pitch, and good motor home drop area. Regular bus service to Honfleur in one direction and Deauville in the other. Immaculate toilet facilities with good size showers, although a few more hooks would have been useful.
Stayed for 2 nights in May during a Bank Holiday so very busy but still pitches available. Very professional site. Good receptionists. English spoken well. Toilet facilities amongst the best we have seen. Pitches large and well tended. Used the ACSI card for this site and it was good value. Next time we will pay the additional few Euros for a 10+amp pitch as these are sited further back and so out of the hustle and bustle. Bus stops right outside. Took a posh coach to nearby Honfleur each day - 1 Euro for 2 of us.
We have stayed here many times and find it a very useful and pleasant stop on our way south. The surrounding area is excellent to explore being very close to the town of Honfleur and a short drive to Deauville and Trouville both of which are worth visiting. The site can be very busy and you need to be careful choosing your pitch to avoid both the Petanc and basketball area if you don't like noise. The thumping of basket balls can go on until dusk. Most pitchs have water and drainage. They are level and of a good size. Recommended.
We visited in 2nd week of September, but refused all available pitches, as they were very soft from heavy rain, and an 8 mtre 4.5tonne Motorhome would not get out afterwards. However, the site has an aire next door, on hard ground (like a car park) overlooking the lake. A better view in my opinion. There is EHU and grey waste disposal, but no working water tap, so had to fill in the service point in the site, where we also had to empty the toilet. We weren't allowed to use the shower and toilet facilities in the site, so can't comment on them.
Another great visit to La Briquerie in June 2015. Situated at the top of a hill on the outskirts of Honfleur about 2 km from the town centre. A well maintained site with pleasant staff. Good sized pitches some with 10amp and some 6amp electricity supply and good facilities. Supermarket 200mtrs from site. Honfleur itself is a beautiful harbour town with lovely shops and great restaurants.
The pitches are large and divided by hedges, with water, drainage and rubbish bins very near. We paid extra for 10amp electricity, but still good value. The walk into Honfleur is about 4kms downhill (but uphill on the way back!), and the Intermarche is next door & has cheap petrol.
