Camping Aux Pommiers - Marvilla parks

Lots of paperwork to complete before arrival at this 4 star park. 5 night stay in early June. Poor or no communication from surely staff, awful food at snack bar, security barrier not working, large washing machine broken, no WiFi (it's broken!), clean toilets and showers but men's showers in main block just dribble, kids park with broken bouncy castle and empty sandpit, beautiful swimming pool (hooray).

A very popular and busy site close to Mont St Michel, really tight getting on and off pitches - we drive a 8.8m Motorhome so it was a particular struggle, even smaller motorhomes struggled, your surrounded with a lot of Motorhomes. The pitches get wet and slippy too, all being grass.

An excellent allotted pitch with a thick carpet of short grass. Very good sanitary facilities close to pitch. Friendly and helpful staff, who were very accomodating, sorting out my self inflicted booking error! Immediate area very commercialised, but worth overlooking because of Mont St Michel only 5 Km away.

Lovely small and friendly site with bar and a limited selection of food, but just outside the site there are restaurants and bars, so no shortage of eating places, there is a supermarket in Pontorson (the next town) and close to Mont Michel.The toilet and shower block was cleaned regularly, the pitches are not the biggest but big enough to fit our 7.5mtr van with canopy, cooking tent and car, it also had water and drain. Although we did not use it, the pool was very clean and inviting with a small childrens play area. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful, we will return and would recomend this site.
