A small, intimate campsite half a kilometre from the beach: camping de la Plage is located on the north coast of the Cotentin in Normandy. With pitches among flowers, free showers and a few luxury glamping tents, you'll soon feel at home there. A few minutes walk and you're on the sandy beach.

Arrived at 1440 to a warm welcome. Allocated a large flat pitch. Facilities all good, clean and modern. Would recommend and stay again.

A peaceful lovely site and only a 21 minute drive from the Cherbourg Ferry Terminal. The lady that runs the site / manages reception is delightfully friendly and gave an excellent welcome and first impression.. The site is only 400 mters from a quiet secluded beach which provided beautiful sunsets. The site grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of attractive flower beds and rockeries. The childrens/toddlers play area look good while there were trampolines for the older children. We really hope we get the chance to visit this site again.
More and easier access to water taps would be nice. The bar wasn't open in June during our visit but it looked very nice and it would have been a good place to socialise.
