Detail information about this campsite
"Quiet flowery campsite in the countryside, large pitches (a lot of comfort) separated by hedges, but close to the city centre and just 9 km from the Mont St. Michel. From the camp site leaves a quiet cycle path along the river Couesnon to close to Mont Saint Michel."

We stayed here for three nights this time, having had a stopover last year. It is an excellent site with all facilities well-maintained. The grounds are extensive but the site keeps a 'small and friendly' feel about it - at least in May when we visited. The path next to the campsite is a wonderful way to access Mont St Michel - a 9 km bike ride or walk. The nearby town of Pontorson is OK to visit, and there is a Carrefour Express (with fuel) about 1 km away. All in all, highly recommended, with super staff.
Amazing site, large pitches, first class facilities. So convenient for shopping, restaurants, and sites of interest. Would love to return, especially as it's a reasonable commute from Caen and Cherbourg.
A very nice site with some pitches that have private toilet, shower and washing up facilities. We had one of these ptiches and enjoyed the 'luxury' of these great facilties. Close to Carrefour and the town of Pontorson which is handy for motorhomers. Will returrn.
We have used this site several times in the past, our last being about three years ago. We were always happy with the standards all round. everything was always very neat, colourful and loved. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.
Oh dear, our return visit is a great disappointment. Everthing has degenerated considerably. Toilets & Showers are very tired with broken plumbing and stained walls. Taps drip and rusty patches are building up. The decked area between the bar and the pool is very worn and requires renewing. Pitches are uneven and hedges uncut. The staff are distant and have a matter of fact attitude. This is definitely our last visit
The site was easily found with good access. A warm welcome by reception staff. The pitch was large with a hedge around it. Toilets and showers clean with plenty of hot water. A cycle way goes past the site and its a pleasant ride along the river to the Mont.
Lovely site - Good size pitch - Very helpful staff. Great to be able to cycle on cycle path to St Michel.
We were torn between heading for the Loire or the coast while going south (loosely) and decided a few nights here would allow us to make up our minds. It proved to be a good choice. The welcome was very friendly and the pitch was fine with free wifi that worked ok. The pool was closed however the bar was open and was fine. The facilities were perfectly good and were kept clean while we were there.
The town of Pontorson is not exciting however it was pleasant to browse around and the Super U supermarket was fine for our needs. The market was good and we found places for coffee and had a good meal out. We visited Mount Saint Michel taking the bus from Pontorson which runs regularly and takes you across the causeway and walked back along the river.
Beautiful and peaceful site close to interesting town.Farm animals are well kept and a good attraction for campers. Pitches were good.
We have used this campsite a couple of times now and have been more than happy with the esperience. The free wi-fi is good and we even managed a face time session with the kids back home. Access is good and Pitches are screened by hedges but they do not hinder easy access to the pich.
Very busy, even in September. Worth paying extra Euro2.50 per night for extra large pitch with water & waste. Toilets & washrooms badly in need of refubishment. Great pool; friendly reception lovely gardens. Lots to do in area...recommend Fougiere & Granville.
