Travelling party: Seniors

Very nice situation next to the shallow river. The pitches are a good size and some have water and drainage. There is plenty of shade.

A footbridge leads to the town which has a boulangerie, a butcher and a small Spar supermarket with a service station. Bigger supermarkets are in Tarascon - about 15 minutes drive. In fact you have to go down this road to get anywhere but we found it easy.

Only negative for couples is that the pool is only 1.4m deep and full of children playing.

We had intended to stay at an ACSI card site nearer Tarascon but it was full. It was no problem being a bit further up the valley as the site is so nice. A bit more expensive but worth it.

This inspector visits Flower Camping La Bexanelle every year and inspects the campsite on the basis of more than 200 amenities and other points of interest. The inspector is an ACSI staff member and does not work for the campsite.
