Sheltered camping site by the river

The camping site grounds are nicely sheltered, with spacious, beautiful pitches directly by the river. The reception is housed in a slightly older building with a small shop. Heading for your pitch, you will see a clean and spacious terrain with playfully laid out sites. Apart from the camping fields, there are a number of mobile homes and rental caravans. Every now and then there are organised activities, fun for young and old.

Swimming paradise

There are two new swimming pools, creating a lovely play paradise for children. The heated swimming pools are well laid out. You can also hire canoes from the camping site. The river's pebble beach runs the entire length of the camping site and is easily accessible. There is also a section with a sandy beach.

Clean sanitary facilities

The camping site has a small shop which stocks a few necessities. The small town of Le Rozier is within walking distance and you can do your additional shopping at the local Spar. The sanitary facilities are new and are kept neat and clean. There is more than sufficient sanitary capacity, even when the camping site is fully booked.

Challenging surroundings

This camping site forms an ideal base to explore the Tarn by kayak. Also fun: explore the adventurous surroundings and visit picturesque villages, gorges, plateaus and caves.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

We stayed July 2012 and had a pitch right on the river. Very nice campsite and being able to have camp fires on the beach was excellent. Owners strict but fair, if kids smash table tennis bats on the tables they take them away...we if the parents won't do any thing what do you expect. We had a great stay and our kids loved it. One to come back to.

Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed during erly June. Excellent site. Convenient for relaxation and visting local very attractive countryside.
Personally cannot fault this site and would definately return. However one magor drawback. Whilst we were on site another English couple left early, due to teenagers lighting bonfires on the riverside beach, extremely close to their tent. Fearing for their safety they complained which reulted in unpleasant confrontations with site owners and parents of 'unsupervised' fire builders. Choose your pitch wisely!
