A beautiful campsite right on the banks of the River Tarn at the start of the Gorges du Tarn with large, well kept pitches - we were offered a 'premium' pitch right by the riverside at no extra cost but preferred a little shade so chose a pitch just across the road. The site is so well kept and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Unusually with campsites at this time of the year (it was April) the restaurant and bar are open all day every day and offer a lovely choice of well cooked food. A log fire was also very welcoming in the cooler evenings. Free WiFi is also available in the Reception/bar/restaurant area which was most useful.
Toilets are immaculate and cleaned frequently. The outdoor pool and play area is lovely and the pool is heated to a sensible, welcoming temperature. This campsite is perfectly located for enjoying this gorgeous area. The village is a short walk away and does have a restaurant and some small shops. Millau is a 10 minute ride away and offers a beautiful view of the Millau Viaduct. I would happily go back to this lovely campsite and cannot recommend it highly enough - one of the very best we have ever stayed at.
I loved this site. Everywhere was very clean and well cared for and the staff were all incredibly friendly. There are three lovely swimming pools, a normal one, a "spa" type one and a kiddies one, and if that's not enough you can swim in the river which has a large shallow area and also a deep bit. The site will also take you further upriver in a canoe and then drop you off so you can canoe back.
Superb location next to the river, wonderful pool complex, cheerful helpful staff. This site is very well located for exploring the Gorges du Tarn. Millau is 15 mins drive away and lots of lovely little villages dotted around to visit and sample local delicacies. This site is nestled in trees for shade during high season and is very calm and relaxing. Fishermen and canoes in the river makes this a very serene site. As the sun does not come up over the Gorge until nearly 0900 there is no need to rise early for breakfast in the sunshine; its a delight to wait for it.
Once again a very enjoyable stay at this wonderful site the surroundings are perfect & we booked a Kayak to come down the Gorge which was a truly memorable experience, cycling in the area is lovely.... Toilet & shower blocks are very good & kept really clean, staff were very helpfull & friendly , lovely clean swimming pool with great play area for children.
A wonderful site in a fantastic location, all the staff were so friendly and the facilities were very good and very clean, would have no hesitation in recommending this site....wonderfull
Excellent site but very disappointed as we had booked and paid for a specific riverside pitch months in advance (confirmed by email) but arrived to discover that the pitch had been given to a late arrival.
We were given an unsuitable pitch for 4 days before we were able to move onto the reserved pitch. This spoiled our stay.
