Domaine Le Poteau is a small-scale campsite in a remote part of the Gers countryside, in the heart of Gascony. Scottish owners Alistair and Fiona have turned their small campsite into a charming camping destination for those seeking peace and quiet.

Welcome!

The campsite is located a little outside the village of Castelnau-d'Auzan. You will be camping in a perfectly tended orchard, far away from big cities and tourist attractions. So you can count on finding the peace you're looking for here. The small scale also contributes to this. Because of the Scottish owners, you will encounter many British people at the campsite, but French and Dutch people also know how to find Domaine Le Poteau. In 2019, the sanitary facilities at the campsite were renovated. So you can use modern and very well-maintained sanitary facilities.

Relaxation at the campsite

A short distance from the pitches is a small swimming pool. This pool is too small for swimming laps in. If you do want to go swimming, there is an outdoor swimming pool in the village. With a background as a chef, Alistair enjoys getting behind the stove for his campers. If there is enough interest, a weekly dinner is organised in the orchard.

Authentic villages

In the immediate vicinity of Domaine Le Poteau are the most beautiful French villages. 17 kilometres away, for example, is Fourcès. In this fortified town, the houses are built in a circle inside the city walls. Montréal-du-Gers (12 kilometres away) and Larressingle (23 kilometres away) are also worth a visit.

Fantastische ontvangst!!
Heerlijke rustige camping met zeer ruime plekken voldoende zon en schaduw! Heerlijk ruim sanitair!!

Travelling party: Couple

Heerlijke rustige camping tussen de wijnvelden. Dit is een Toppertje. 10 dagen gekampeerd, en echt heel erg genoten. Gastvrije Schotten, lekker in de hangmat op een lome luie middag, mooie plekken om te kamperen, zwembadje om af te koelen, en uitstekend sanitair. Alisdair en Fiona koken 2x per week, iedere ochtend brood van de Boulanger, en 1 keer in de week bio groente van de buurt groenteboer. Veel gemarkeerde wandelroutes in de omgeving bij LaBastide d\'armagnac, uitstekend Vegan restaurant in Condom (check HappyCow app).

Zeer mooie en rustige camping, met toffe schotse eigenaars. Er waren max zes plaatsen bezet, dus de rust zelve.
