Nice campsite, plenty of space, great toilet facilities. didn\'t try the restaurant but was told that it is good.
Lovely campsite, very clean and tidy , nice people and facilities.
We only stayed one night as a stop over on our way south but what I nice find. This is a lovely well looked after luxury site in every respect. The reception staff are extremely friendly & efficient.
We are planning to stay here for few days on our way home as it was so nice & the area is very pleasant with lots of things to do.
A strong recommend from us!
Lively site. Lovely site. Everything you need. Apart from a shop. Staff wonderful. Toilets spotless. Most of the pitches are sloping you may need a ramp and chocks. Loads of rabbits to keep you amused.chef not too good. Microwaves everything even the pizza and the quiche. Chips very good.
Great campsite, loved the pool, huge pitches. Hopefully next time will stay more than 1 night.
we used as a first night stop on way out. very helpful welcoming staff. ACSI rate good value. good pitches amongst shrubs and trees. Ideal for stopover or to visit historical WW2 sites.
We really like this site and have stayed on a number of occasions previously. We love the owners sense of humour, and how helpful he was when we asked about cycle routes. Facilities are always clean and tidy, and for a large campsite it is always quiet at night. It is slightly expensive, but I understand that is what you pay for sites in this area. I have had to mark the food and drink section a lower than I would have normally, as we had a very disappointing meal in the campsite on our last evening. We had to send our duck main course back as it was barely warm, and when it came back it was only just hot enough. We then ordered a dessert, which the waitress forgot, and we had to remind her some 30 minutes later. We received an apology from the waitress who was not responsible, but nothing from the one who was. Very disappointing
We arrived at this lovely site around 6pm to be told that the pool was closed but the site itself is very pleasant and the restaurant looked good although we had a meal in the fridge so missed out maybe another time. The large pool was empty of water so may have been leaking shame it was closed. Staff very pleasant.
Well kept site. Good sized pitches. All facilities clean
Friendly staff. Lovely area. Ideal for travelling too or from ports.
Nice campsite with large pitches, we used as a stopover site out of season so cannot comment on the pool etc. Pitches have hard standing on one side which is good for this area when they have rain! Easy access even for large units. Good toilet facilities, toilet paper provided, sink to wash hands in just outside to answer a previous review on here. Showers good and hot, dog walk area in woods at back. Would use again
