Very convenient for tram into city centre, unfortunately the art museum was closed on our visit, opened 3 days after we had to leave. But well worth wandering around the Duke Chateau, and the museum of Nantes history. excellent toilet facilities, and free wifi which was fast at our pitch. Pitches were a bit on the small side, but adequate. Note if you want to top up your motorhome water tank you will probably need an adaptor from reception. Fortunately our tank had plenty so left til next stop
large well planned site set in park like setting , plenty of mature trees. very efficient staff who spoke english. very close to city centre , but you\'d never know. sanitaires were very clean and the largest cubicles we have seen. excellent ! if you want to explore nante, this is the place to stay ! make sure you book in advance , even for one night. we got the last pitch and it was the end of september. we would definately come again.
Very efficiently run site, which manages to achieve a pleasantly rural feel even though it\'s less than 15 minutes by tram from the centre of Nantes. Sanitary blocks are good, but can be under pressure if the site is full; the shower cubicles are huge -- it would have been sensible to provide smaller cubicles but more of them. Some noise from the adjacent road, but not enough to be a problem.
Lovely campsite but as others have stated there are not enough toilets/shower facilities for the size of the site. Tram to Nantes is just outside the site and well worth a visit. Will definitely come back
Lovely site, friendly staff, clean toilets, tram stop just outside the main entrance. Perfect for visiting Nantes.
very good site the ladies in reception where superb all the info you could want for the site and the attractions in the city easy tram ride in. you could walk it in 30 minutes if you felt the need cycle lanes to all parts of area
What a nice surprise! How can something this close to Nantes be so quiet and well kept? Pitches are very large and well separated. Facilities are separate male/female and excellent. Very clean. Take advantage of discount Transport ticket to Nantes. Lots to see and do.
What an excellent site. We had a full service pitch. It was part hard standing, part grass and surrounded by hedges. The site is very well maintained and the staff that we dealt with were excellent.
The bar and restaurant are maintained to a very high standard and the staff were friendly.
We were very impressed with the standard of the toilet block, although the chemical toilet disposal point was locked for some reason.
This is a very, very good site. As good as we have ever visited and deserves its five stars.
Nantes itself is worth plenty of time to visit and we agreed that we will come back again.
First class site with excellent staff. Great to visit Nantes, only €8 (buy in reception) for 24 hour transport that\'s tram, bus and boat. Easy to pick up tram at site entrance. No pool, but free token from reception for pool opposite. Did not use restauarant as closed for a few days. Some pitches became very muddy during heavy rain and motorhomes needed a tow off. Suggest ask for hard standing sites, but as a very busy site you may have to arrive very early for choice.
A nice campsite, in a wooded area with easy access to Nantes centre by tram, Although clean, the toilets and showers were few in number, which could be problem in high season. I have put a short video on youtube \"Nantes camping September 2015\" https://youtu.be/tQalem28ofM
