Flower Camping Le Pré des Sables is situated north of the coastal town of La Rochelle, on the edge of the village of L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer. The Atlantic Ocean is just a stone's throw away, but the campsite also has a lovely swimming pool for plenty of swimming fun. The campsite is situated between the sea and the forest and it only takes a 10 minute walk to get to L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer with its shops and good places to eat. The nearest beach is Plage des Bélugas, just 2 kilometres away. You can easily discover the beautiful nature by bike or on foot. Children will have a great time in the covered swimming pool and there are fun activities on the programme during the high season.

Camping in the Vendée

The department of Vendée in the South West of France is a varied region. Ideal as a holiday destination because of the marshes, sandy beaches, nice bathing resorts and rocky coasts. You drive the last kilometres towards the coast through rural Vendée. Just at the roundabout you will find the well maintained campsite with many trees. In a small building at the entrance you will find the reception where Félix and Fanny welcome you. The medium-sized campsite has spacious pitches and is situated in the middle of a lovely walking and cycling area. Near the campsite there are routes that are also suitable for children, for example through the dunes that are so characteristic of this nature-rich region.

Space and privacy

All camping pitches are neatly grouped along charming streets. The sanitary building has recently been renovated and looks neat. Most of the pitches are very spacious and you can choose a nice spot in the sun or perhaps go for some more shade. Characteristic for the pitches is the delimitation by low hedges. If you prefer a more luxurious night, you can rent one of the beautiful glamping accommodations. Choose from a trendy Coco sweet tent, a mobile home or a furnished wooden lodge.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - A really nice site, not to far from the village center, shops and restaurants. A shame we only stayed one night. We will be back.
