The campsite was quiet, we slept well. We stayed in a beautiful, fairly new cottage. The swimming pool was also very nice with a pleasant water temperature.
The cottage we received was very different from the pleasant setting shown on the website, which was disappointing. The welcome was rather cold, and the ordered bed linen was initially missing, although this was eventually resolved before the night. The cottage also had a duvet cover with large patches of what looked like hardened candle wax. The campsite itself feels somewhat neglected, with many messy empty areas and a pool that has seen better days. The nearby water sports centre is nice, but the direct entrance from the campsite has been closed, which is a shame.
