Camping De La Baie is een eenvoudige camping in het noorden van Frankrijk, niet ver van het dorpje Pendé. Je bent hier in Picardië, het noordoostelijke deel van Normandië. Met dertig toerplaatsen, bijna zeventig vaste jaarplaatsen en veertien huuraccommodaties is een verblijf hier lekker rustig. Campinggasten kunnen gebruikmaken van een jeu-de-boulesbaan, minigolfbaan, speeltuin en recreatieruimte. Toch gaat het kampeerleven hier vooral over genieten van rust en de natuur. In deze toeristische streek, de zogenaamde Baie de Somme, liggen langgerekte stranden en fraaie badplaatsen als Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme (vier kilometer) en Le Crotoy (achttien kilometer).

The reception staff went out of their way to help us. My disabled wife was well looked after. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of a campsite in a location that was really rural and yet was close to the main road into the town.
Only ourselves in that our command of the French language could have been better than it was.
