Camping Chantecler is located near Aix-en-Provence and features a large swimming pool with a separate paddling pool. The camping is situated close to the motorway, which makes it the ideal starting point from which to explore the area.
Views of the Sainte-Victoire
Camping Chantecler is a relatively quiet camping for most of the year and most of the pitches are separated by green hedges and trees. The pitches are mostly situated alongside a paved path in a wooded area. The highest situated camping pitches have views of the Sainte-Victoire. These pitches do not have access to water and electricity, however, and are therefore more suitable for campers with tents. There are also many chalets and mobile homes available for rent on the campsite. This is a popular spot for campers in July and August so it tends to be much busier then.
Spend an active day
Camping Chantecler has a large swimming pool with a separate paddling pool. To keep you active during the day, there is a sports field and a couple of table tennis tables as well as some playground equipment for the children. For an active day outside the campsite, you can rent bicycles. There are many cycling possibilities in the area surrounding the campsite, but there are also plenty of opportunities for hiking and even horseback riding. There is even an 18-hole golf course a few kilometres from the campsite.
Fresh rolls made to order
If you order rolls at the campsite the evening beforehand, you can pick them up the next morning. You can also do some basic grocery shopping here. There is a larger supermarket just outside Camping Chantecler. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are available in the restaurant and the snack bar.
