Wil je graag de Gorges du Verdon bezoeken en zoek je een camping daar in de buurt? Dan is een verblijf op Camping L'Aigle in Aiguines, een authentiek dorpje in de Provence, zeker aan te bevelen. Je kampeert hier op korte afstand van diverse prachtige uitkijkpunten over de gorges. Bovendien ligt de camping te midden van wandel- en klimroutes, waarvan een groot deel langs en door de genoemde rivierkloof. Na een mooie wandeldag kun je op de camping lekker tot rust komen. Dit kan bij uitstek in het gemeenschappelijke bubbelbad of in het restaurant, dat een terras heeft waarvandaan je een geweldig uitzicht hebt over het Lac de Sainte-Croix. Dit is het meer waarin de Gorges du Verdon uitmondt.

Its viewing points, its evident investment to keep modernising, the facilities are clean and modern and a lovely location as an alternative to being lakeside with wiznderdul drives in every location for visiting sites

The view

The Coco Sweet huts are not for human beings to stay in. It’s like sleeping in a plastic box from IKEA. It has nothing to do with camping in nature. They were smelly and gave all of us headaches — and opening the windows at night didn’t help. There were mice running between the inner and outer walls, which made the nights terrible. The description says there is a kitchen, but in reality, there’s just a fridge and a microwave. No way to cook, and no running water. The fridge smelled, and we had to wash the cutlery because it was dirty.
