Flower camping site Moulin des Iscles is located by the water's edge of the Argens River, nestled amidst French nature. An oasis of peace and tranquillity in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, one of France's most touristy regions. On this small-scale camping site you stay in unspoiled nature, between large trees and on the bank of the river. With charming Provençal villages and towns close by and only a fifteen minute drive away from the white beaches of the Mediterranean Sea.
Congenial and authentic
The congenial appearance of the camping site and its owners contribute towards its amicable atmosphere. The camping site is modest but authentic. Spacious camping pitches, some of which on the water's edge, are provided with ample shade by full trees. With some eighty touring pitches to choose from, the camping site is modestly sized.
Canoeing on the Argens
You do not need a swimming pool, with the Argens river flowing past the camping site. The Argens is very suitable for swimming, but it may be even more fun to take your canoe onto the water. Fishing is also excellent there.
The entertainment programme is as unpretentious as the camping site. A long table on the square, a glass of wine and some music: you don't need more for an convivial evening. During the day you can take part in a pétanque tournament.
An enjoyable evening outdoors goes hand in hand with great food. You can leave this in the capable hands of the camping site owner. She does the cooking herself and can rustle up delicious meals. The restaurant is housed in that beautiful building covered with climbers. You can really relax on its lovely terrace.

Disliked - bugs. mosquitoes but you can't control them
Liked - Good sized pitch with electric and water. Not much grass but more earth and sand. Good swimming pool.
Disliked - The bar on site far too early. 8pm most nights but 7 pm on one night!
Liked - Nice site, excellent facilities - especially the pool - which made for a nice stay
Disliked - Bar closed earlier than expected & nobody around on Sunday when we wanted to canoe. Wifi didn't work & there was no cold water to refill bottles for drinking
Liked - excellent
Liked - Calm, peaceful and quiet site. Very helpful and friendly lady on reception. Free use of canoes for the river. The helpful young girl in the restaurant had accommodated our request for vegan food and we enjoyed our meals. Lovely new pool with Roquebrun in the background.
Disliked - The restaurant closed on 1st September during our stay (but this may have been the planned schedule and we hadn't realised). This meant it was incredibly quiet and there was less interaction with any staff or other campers.
Liked - We found this campsite to be a great place to stay. Staff where fantastic and really helpful. Swimming pool was awesome and relatively new. The campsite is currently undergoing a revamp and from what we experienced this place will be a top place to stay. Toilet/shower block needs updated but this process is taking place. Needs the washing machines to be updated and more easily accessible but I’m sure it is going to happen. Staff were awesome and couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Liked - i love it
Liked - SWIMMING POOL
Disliked - NO MINIMARKET
Liked - Almost everything. I love meeting old friends from different countries each year. Although the site has been taken over by a large company, the old character has largely been kept. Please don't change it too much more!
Disliked - The younger staff members were very inexperienced and not very helpful, some of them didn't seem to know as what they were there for!
So many large vehicles on site with so many children is a recipe for disaster. I think you will need to make some kind of restriction in peak season.
I will definitely come in June or September next year and leave July and August for families with children
