Looking for a paradise hidden in the countryside of the French Ardèche? At Camping Le Castelet, you camp at a tree-filled site on the banks of the Doux river. This charming and small-scale campsite is ideal for families with young children, nature lovers and people wanting to relax and unwind. You can take wonderful walking and cycling trips in the natural green surroundings. Visit charming French villages and go for a ride on the steam train that passes close to campsite. You can go to the swimming pool for a refreshing swim. The friendly bar with patio is perfect for a drink after swimming.

Camping on a natural green site

When you arrive at Camping Le Castelet, you will notice that the site is neatly maintained and spaciously appointed. The many trees offer plenty of shade. The site has 58 pitches. The campsite also rents mobile homes suitable for four to six people. The toilet and washing facilities are clean and tidy.

Fun in the water in the swimming pool and the river

Le Castelet has a lovely heated swimming pool, which is highly suitable for young children. Next to the swimming pool there is a pool with water games and a separate paddling pool. You can have even more swimming fun in the Doux river that also has a beach.

Valhalla for young children

There is no lack of entertainment! In the high season there is an enthusiastic entertainment team that organises all kinds of fun activities. For example, face painting, drawing, outdoor games and football or table tennis matches. There are various playgrounds at the campsite, a BMX track, a fitness field and a basketball pitch.

Travelling party: Seniors

A superb site run by a lovely couple and family. Have been visiting
This site since 2012 in early season. As a senior couple entertainment ,child friendliness and sports facilities are not a major concern.
The bar serves drinks in a efficient and welcoming informal way .
Generally nothing is too much for our hosts.
