The relaxed campsite de L'Ardèche is directly situated along the river and in the region, both of the same name. You will be staying close to the bridge that connects the towns of Salavas en Vallon-Pont- d’Arc. This is very centrally situated in the southern part of this touristy nature area, although very tranquil and amidst greenery.

Green grounds

The 150 pitches are spread over the campsite along several pathways and streets, a number of which are cul-de-sacs. The pitches are surrounded by trees, hedges and shrubs which offer shade and ample privacy. Yet there are a number of pitches which are sunny most of the day. However, you will not find manicured or shielded pitches here, which makes for an amiable atmosphere. It is a sandy or grassy surface. A number of larger pitches are directly situated along the riverbank.

Safe swimming in the river

From the campsite you can walk to the riverbank where the view of the high rocks is characteristic for this region. Wonderful spot for swimming, fishing or spending time on the riverbank watching life on and around the water go by. There is a small dam in this part of the river where a wooden platform has been constructed. This is surrounded by several spots for sunbathing or to relax under one of the trees. In summer there is a lifeguard at the river to keep an eye on things.

Liked - Heel fijne camping die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt.
Goede sanitaire voorzieningen, heel vriendelijk onthaal, je kan er een paar basis gerechtjes eten in het restaurant, vlak aan de rivier de L'Ardeche.
Ik kom hier zeker nog terug!
Disliked - Op sommige plekken in de electriciteitsvoorziening wat veraf.

Disliked - Ablusions block was a little tired, probably due to being end of season.

Liked - The site is excellent in a beautiful location. Only a few kilometres from the Pont d’Arc and Grotte Chauvet 2. The site is very well maintained and the staff are most helpful.
Disliked - Washing machines were not working, but that was the only problem.
