The l’Ardèche forms the backdrop of Camping International. All the delightful attractions, shops and lovely villages are situated near the camping site and are within walking distance. The vast choice of walking and mountain biking routes allows you to explore this region to the fullest. Campers looking for a genuine camping feeling will enjoy a relaxing holiday on the waterfront.
Perfect base for excursions into the region
Driving on the bridge over the river l'Ardèche from the town of Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, you can see the camping site on your right. After the roundabout, you will reach the tastefully decorated reception. There you will also find the swimming pool, restaurant, shop and a large green area with ample room for sports and games.
Water fun galore
Children will enjoy themselves in the river which flows along the camping site. Its location near the waterfall adds to the fun. It is advisable to bring your water shoes because of the pebble beach. The modest but beautiful outdoor swimming pool offers a lovely alternative to the natural swimming spot. There is even a separate toddler pool for the tiny water rats.
Near the village of Vallon Pont d'Arc, you can visit the Grotte Chauvet 2 with its 32,000-year-old cave paintings. That is to say... not the real ones, but a replica. The real cave, discovered as recently as 1994, has never been opened to the public. The spectacular exposition in the cave is impressive and a good reason for an excursion for young and old.
