Attention nature lovers! You'll find this friendly and simple campsite in the north of France, near Rouen. This part of the interior of Normandy exudes tranquillity and has beautiful cycling routes. Camping de la Seine is located on the river of the same name and has waterfront pitches offering a beautiful view. The area offers plenty of activities. From watersports on Lake Jumièges to interesting cultural attractions in the city of Rouen. Around the corner is a vast nature park with forests, wetlands and castles.

Nice view over the water

A number of camping pitches offer beautiful views of the water and the wooded banks on the other side. All pitches on the campsite are demarcated by bushes, guaranteeing peace and privacy. You can choose between pitches with or without electricity, and there are grassy areas especially for tent campers. There are also various rental accommodations, such as mobile homes and apartments.

There is limited entertainment on the campsite, but guests can play a game of pétanque and there is a trampoline for children. During the summer holidays you can enjoy a delicious baguette in the morning.

Winding along the Seine

Do you love cycling? The famous La Route des Fruits (Fruit Route) runs past the campsite. Free ferries will take you across the Seine. You can rent bicycles at the campsite if you haven't brought along your own. The route, which totals 40 to 60 kilometres in length, is also suitable for travelling by car.

Liked - We really enjoyed the cycling opportunities nearby. Jumièges is a lovely little village with a few cafes and restaurants. We loved listening to the owls during the night.
Disliked - Very basic site but for us, that was part of its appeal.
