Camping Les Vernières is located on the banks of the Dordogne. You'll be camping on spacious, well-maintained touring pitches or in one of the exceptional rental properties, such as a yurt. With a an indoor, heated swimming pool, cuddly donkeys and a large playground, this is truly a family campsite. The surrounding area is a paradise for hiking. For example, climb the highest peak of the Massif Central.

All good really. Staff lovely and very helpful. Toilets, showers, washing up, washing machines all excellent. We were too early for everything to have opened up so no food, bread etc, but we knew that before we arrived. Shops are very accessible with a shortish walk.
Not really. Work ongoing around the pool area so improvement is on the way.

Loved the town so interesting and so easy from campsite. Nice reception staff
Poor internal roads bad for people with mobility issues . Where is the Water !!!! Taps very few and far between. 2 Sanitary blocks . One totally inadequate for the number of visitors even at off season . Swimming pool difficult to get into and then guess what ….. not suitable for Mobility impaired person . NO SITE LIGHTING WHEN WE STAYED . Won’t recommend and 4 * I don’t think so
