We needed a stopover on Thursday night and earrived at this site late pm. Reception was closed on Thurs! However a friendly man came to open the barrier for us and showed us the pitch area and shower block. We paid the following morning when reception opened. A negative is that all the pitches were just merely divided by ropes with no hedging or privacy but it didn’t matter as we were the only vehicle there. Our neighbours were a few horses in a separate field. The shower block was new and immaculate. To us it felt more like a CL site. As with a lot of campsites there are numerous ‘Mobil-homes’ permanently on site. I cannot comment on child friendliness or entertainment so have marked it as average.
