Camping La Promenade is located just a few steps from the banks of the Loire, in the village of Montjean-sur-Loire. Under the watchful eye of the cathedral of Montjean-sur-Loire, which towers above the surrounding area, you camp on a terrain with many spacious and delimited touring pitches. For a cultural day out, get on your bike to go to one of the many castles close to the Loire.

Lovely quiet, well maintained site. Very shady. Nice when it's sunny but very dark when dull. No Internet at plots, only at reception. Showers and loos clean . Receptionists very helpful and speak English. Indoor pool looks nice and plenty for children to play with. Very pretty area but not much to do in the village. Very few shops and only 5 stalls at the weekly market. Recommend a boat trip on the Loire in the old boat.
