Camping in a green valley with two beautiful lakes nearby. You can at the Champ Tillet Campsite in Marlens, a village in the green, hilly east of France. The plus points of the campsite are the two swimming pools, the restaurant and the animation programme. Lake Annecy is just a ten-minute drive away.
<p>Designed for tents/caravans/campers, all our sites are of a good size and on a well-drained grassland. Whether you prefer to be in the shade or sun, you can set up home on a private and cared for pitch, in the middle of nature. Loved the big open space at the back with great views. Showers, toilets all good. Indoor pool excellent and the outdoor pool looked great too. Vey warm welcome and helpful staff.
Sadly we could not fit in to empty our waste. Our motorhome is 3.75 metres high and the roof beams / roof trusses made it tricky for us to try to get in.

Friendly and helpful staff. toilets and showers were clean, Swimmingpool was great, restaurant was fine and the views and surroundings were great.

We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with everything. The campsite was clean, well maintained, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The facilities met our expectations and we enjoyed our holiday very much.
If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a small campsite shop for basic groceries and daily necessities. Apart from that, we did not miss anything and our stay was excellent.
