Everything from the friendly welcome, to the well-spaced pitches, to the lovely pool is just a delight. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The atmosphere of the place is delightful and we will be back.
The showers are the push button sort, so could be improved, but overall it's lovely

This campsite was simply superb and easily one of the best we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a traditional campsite and more like we were camping within the grounds of a beautiful château. The setting is absolutely stunning. The pitches are huge, giving plenty of space and privacy, and ours was particularly impressive. It felt more like having our own private area of the estate rather than being on a campsite. The pitch also provided welcome shade at various points throughout the day, which was invaluable during our stay in the middle of a heatwave.
Given that we visited during an extreme heatwave, a few more trees planted around the pitches would provide even more shade and would make an already outstanding setting even better. That said, our pitch already had some shade and this is a very minor point considering the conditions we experienced.

Swimming pool was great, pitches, ground and surrounding small forest really nice and a very relaxing stay, however the temperature did hit +41 degrees which made doing anything challenging
Open the bar at the pool, we enquired but owners said it’s only open in high season from July so others please be aware if going in June, the site was busy so the bar was well worth opening Food, all that was offer was burgers so minimal Pool area, no sun beds only stupid black chairs, that was difficult to sit on in the sun, and when you did because it was so hot they folded in on and and collapsed, the one I sat on broke in half with evening up having a large bruise on my side for the rest of the holiday and I’m not heavy being a fit athlete 79kg!!!!

The ambience of the chateau and grounds together with the pool for a swim or cool down is just what we wanted.
Signage could do with freshening. Clearer markers for the walks in the woodland without intruding on the naturally beautiful area.

Great site, with large emplacements, the pergolas are very helpful. Lovely walking in the woods to the village of Villedomer, and very welcoming in the Le Petit Gourmet. Also enjoyed the Bieretruck and Pizza wagon. The pool was quiet and very welcoming.
