Camping de Châlons-en-Champagne Onlycamp

Overnight stays to and from French alps. Not much info or help from reception. overnight pitches are tight for caravan. had to unhitch to get it out as others had parked either side of the road so could not get the caravan out without unhitching it or hitting someone. I think I would rather drive the 8 hour journey than stay here again.

een doorreiscamping, stadscamping, gelegen aan een water volledig in beslag genomen door Ganzen die dan ook overal hun behoefte laten. Het meer is een afgesloten deel van de camping. Het sanitair moet nodig opgeknapt worden, is erg verouderd. De plaatsen voor doortrekkers zijn voldoende maar niet al te groot. Het eten was ronduit slecht.

Unwelcoming who give only basic information . Totally inadequate number of toilets and shower's which were also not clean due to Number of people using them . Would not recommend .

This site has lovely large pitches with water and electricity, Staff/hosts where very helpful spoke good English. It has a restaurant on site didn't use it so cant comment on menu or quality. This is a large site and only had one washing machine and dryer so had to wait. The negatives where the toilets and showers, these need to be totally refurbished the roof was coming down in places, I am used to staying in basic facilities but these were terrible and let the site down.

Pleasant site, and good walking location into town. However, whilst the newer (wooden) toilet block is reasonable, the other on on site can only be described as dreadful. The bar/ restaurant is not to any required standard.
