Camping de la Lande is a small and quiet campsite in Brassac, in the heart of the green landscape of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. You will camp on the banks of the river Agout, surrounded by woods and hills. The campsite is well organised and ideal for campers who appreciate simplicity, nature and relaxation. Its central location makes it a great base for exploring the Tarn and the surrounding mountainous areas.

From the website we assumed the campsite had a pool and tennis court, however, the actual campsite is a camping municipal and the tennis court and pool are also municipal and situated approximately two kilometres away. The pool was also empty.

Be clear about this on your website, we struggled to find and get in to the campsite, it would be a good idea to provide the barrier code via email. We did book and pay before hand.

Camping Camboussel is not really a good option for families with children. Despite what the photos suggest, the swimming pool shown actually belongs to the municipality, not the camping itself. There is no pool on the premises. Additionally, there is no heating system, so the water is very cold and the rooms are quite small. If you don’t have experience with mountain environments, staying here could be risky. The village itself doesn’t offer much to see or do — it feels like a waste of both time and money. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families or first-time visitors.

Nothing else to improve
