Camping Château Le Verdoyer adjoins the domain of the castle of the same name in the wooded countryside around the village of Champs-Romain. The terraces on the fancy campsite are shaded by trees and offer - on the edge of the site - a beautiful view of woods, ponds and fields. Take a dip in the swimming pool and eat in the castle's restaurant.

Friendly, helpful owners and the restaurant food was amazing.
Would have loved to see the inside of chateau or the video tour if that is not possible.

It was a peaceful location with good sized pitches. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

As always a great place to stay. Pitch was the same as last year, as requested, with water and electricity. Bar and restaurant excellent and the team are friendly and helpful. Sadly only one visit to the pool due to the weather but it was clean and plenty of sun beds. All in all exactly as expected Thank you

This is my 5th time staying here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. It hard to imagine one is staying in a chateau built in the 1400s. The Ausem's family makes you feel like you are at home and the restaurant has an incredible menu with an emphasis on the Perigord.
