On the outskirts of Lyon, in the village of Dardilly, you’ll find Camping de Lyon. This city campsite is an excellent base from which to visit the historic centre of Lyon. Because of its location, close to the motorway, you can also use the campsite for a stopover during a journey to the south of France, Spain or Italy.

Fantastic site, friendly, helpful staff and spacious pitches. Great bus link to Lyon, but dogs have to be muzzled so we drove into Lyon. Parking at St George’s by the river, not expensive and very easy. We will return to this brilliant site, and beautiful Lyon.
