This campsite is located near the town of Les Mesnil-sous-Jumièges, in the French department of Seine-Maritime (Normandy region). This is a beautiful, hilly area where the River Seine winds its way through extensive forests. Its an ideal campsite for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. Du Lac Campsite is also popular with families with children during high season.

Very clean tidy site with large pitches.
My particular pitch was in a dip, which would have been a problem if it had rained There is a large pack of dogs nearby that are very vocal from around 6am

Staff were very friendly and spoke great English. The site was clean, well layed out and everyone pleasant. Lots of things to do which made the campsite even better.
Check out time was a let down. We had to leave to catch a ferry by 7.45 and nobody was there. But we left without a hitch in the end and exchanged emails.

The location and the surroundings were pleasant, and the accommodation itself was satisfactory
The main issue was the attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, we found some members of staff very rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. Their way of communicating with guests was inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable. Staff should be more respectful, welcoming and professional towards customers. This significantly affected our overall experience of the stay.

The lake, watersports and the helpful reception team, location on route de fruits and easy access to Rouen etc
Toilet facilities (no toilet paper or soap sometimes, blocked sink), electric cables running across paths creating trip hazard.
