Camping Le Barralet
Fantastic
View 47 reviews
Enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the South of France at the Camping Le Barralet campsite. This green campsite is located on the banks of the river Gardon, in the village of Collias. The campsite is located in an area with many remains from the Roman era. For example, the Pont du Gard is a stone's throw away. This impressive Roman aqueduct is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is well worth a visit. The campsite restaurant (with bar and terrace) is the perfect place for a nice meal or a quick snack.

Lovely campsite with views of the countryside and river. Staff friendly, toilets/ showers clean and pitches spacious. The pool is clean, there is a petanque, volley ball and basketball area with a small children's play area. Direct access to the river and the town where you can hire a kayak and take a trip to the Pont du Gard or cycle around using the many routes, take a bus into Uzes, or go climbing, there are many things to do. There is an onsite restaurant which offers a variety of meals including pizza and tapas, along with a bar area offering views over the hillside.
Sprinkle a little cheer over the restaurant. This reduced my rating slightly.

nicely laid out site with nice planting and good shade. Pool was clean and it was nice to have a bar and restaurant open before high season. The food was very good.
Sanitary facilities are cleaned daily but could be more frequent. They are hosed down and left quite wet...even the toilet paper! On a positive, toilet paper, hand soap and warm water are provided. Showers are very cramped and in need of a facelift.

Large pitch for our 7.2m van. Fairly easy walk to town path a bit rough. Did not venture to the river from the site as it’s quite a trawl down and back. But river is beside the town so can access easier from there. Good pool overall a happy stay
