View 439 reviews
In the valley of the Lot, directly on the banks of the river and near the medieval Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, you will find Camping Paradis de la Plage. Here you can camp on a touring pitch between the trees and at the water's edge. Via a small gate you reach the beach and the river. The campsite is a real family campsite with lots of entertainment: from volleyball tournaments to movie nights.

The staff at the site were great, we changed dates of our stay quite last minute and they sorted it out fine. We also had issues with the family next to us staying up making noise whilst 3am. We mentioned it to the staff the next morning and they were not happy about it and were going to be have a word with them. Great customer service.
We couldn’t connect to the electrics as it was an adaptor we didn’t have.

We stayed here for one night early August so that we could visit the absolutely stunning village of Saint Cirq Lapopie which is a 15 minute climb uphill from the site. The site is in a wood so there is plenty of shade. The washing up area was clean. Toilet paper in the cubicles. Facilities block was clean.
This is a 4 star site but I’m not sure why: no pool but access to the river through a gate, no onsite bar that I could see - the restaurant at the entrance looked as though it had been closed for a while. Showers were cold.

Access to the Lot and the bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Cleanliness of facilities. Access to Saint Cinq Lapopie along the river.
Poor standard of pitches, requires more hard standing.
