In the southern Vendée on the Atlantic Ocean, in the vicinity of Les Sables d’Olonne (40 km) and La Rochelle (60 km), you will find the lively seaside town of La Tranche-sur-Mer. Here you can look forward to a large number of restaurants and there are shops galore. There also is a daily market. It is here that you will find campsite La Grande Vallée, located between the trees and only 700 m away from the sea, with a lovely sandy beach.

Size of pitch, cleanliness, staff and location. The motorhome drainage area was the best I’ve seen. Everything was so clean and the staff were always tidying up.
